Enables or disables the monitor's ability to enter power saving mode.
When enabled, the monitor goes into power saving mode after the period of time has passed with no input
signal detected or signal loss has occurred.
Set the power saving condition in [Mode].
When the monitor is in power saving mode, the LED power indicator will change color. Refer to the Power
indicator table (see
page
19).
The monitor will enter the state selected for [Mode] in the following condition:
The monitor is powered off by pressing the main power switch or POWER ON button on the remote
control, [Power Off Schedule] in [Schedule], or by an external control.
• The monitor is powered off by pressing the main power switch.
• The monitor is powered off by pressing the POWER ON button on the remote control.
• The monitor is powered off by [Power Off Schedule] in [Schedule].
• The monitor is powered off by an external control.

When disabled, the monitor doesn't go into power saving mode.

TIP:
When the monitor is connected to a computer, the computer's display adapter may not stop
sending digital data even though there is no image on-screen. If this occurs the monitor will not
switch into standby state.

The [Power Save] function is disabled when [Human Sensing]*

Sets the amount of time the monitor should wait for input signal before going into power save state.
When [Low Power] is selected, the monitor cannot detect an input signal from the connected device and
will not turn on automatically. To turn on the monitor, press the main power switch on the monitor or the
POWER ON button on the remote control, or disconnect and reconnect the device's signal cable.
When [Normal] is selected, the monitor turns on by detecting an input signal from a connected device.
Set to [Normal] when using an external control function (see
Controls power delivery to the USB Type-C port when the monitor is in standby state.
On:
Always supply power, even when the monitor is in standby state.
Auto:
Supply power to the port only when connecting a device to the port.
Off:
No power is supplied to the port.
TIP:

Power consumption by a device connected to this port depends on the USB device.
Shows a message as the monitor is entering low power mode.
When [On] is selected, the monitor will quickly return to the ON state and display an image when a
signal is detected or when returning from standby state. Enabling this option increases standby power
consumption.
Determines whether or not to turn the monitor off when there is no operation from the remote control,
RS-232C commands, or LAN commands.
When setting the time options on [Home Screen], the monitor will turn off at the specified time.
Requires a password to be entered to use the monitor.
Input the current password to change the settings in this menu.
Sets whether or not a password is necessary when using Administrator Settings and Updater.
The password is required when powering on the monitor.
The password is required when pressing a button on the display's button panel or remote control.
Prevents the monitor from being controlled by the wireless remote control, the buttons on the monitor, or
both.
When [Activate] is selected, all settings are activated.

TIP:
[IR] is a function intended only for the wireless remote control buttons.
This function does not lock out access to the buttons on the monitor.

To return to normal operation, press the DISPLAY button on the remote control and hold it down
for more than 5 seconds.
Selects the device, [IR], [Key] or [Key & IR].
Selects the mode [Unlock], [All Lock] or [Custom Lock].
All buttons are available for normal operation.
