Introduction

Advantech's new UNO-1 series serve as modular Integrated edge controllers. They
provide configuration flexibility for customers seeking to cost effectively optimize their
services. The new integrated DIN-rail mounting kit is designed to be more ruggedized
and user-friendly, making it a perfect fit for control cabinets.
This new UNO-137 V2 model features a ruggedized design with an industrial-grade
®
Intel Atom x6413E 1.5 GHz and x6425RE 1.9 GHz processor and built-in 8 GB
DDR4 RAM. It supports a wide temperature range (-40°C ~ 70°C/-40°F ~ 158°F) and
sufficient I/O - including 2 x LAN, 2 xRS-232/422/485, 3 x USB 3.2, 1 x USB 2.0, 8 x
DI, 8 x DO, and 2 x DP++. It also supports 1 x full-size mini PCIe slot, 2 x M.2, and 1
x Nano SIM card slots to enable expansion. An optional 2nd stack extension kit sup-
ports 1 x iDoor module, such as an industrial Fieldbus, as well as I/O and peripheral
modules. This expandability makes Advantech's UNO-1 series an excellent choice
for various industrial applications. Additionally, UNO-1's flexible expandability and
control functions meet emerging demands for industry 4.0.

Safety Precautions

Below are a few safety precautions for preventing injury when making connections. In
most cases, users can use a standard cable for connection.
Warning! Always disconnect the power cord from the chassis before manual han-
dling. Do not connect the chassis while the system power is on. A sud -
den rush of power can damage sensitive electronic components. Only
experienced electronics personnel should open the chassis.
