CALCULATING THE CORRECTION FACTOR

Two different ways are described below to eliminate the existing deviation of a meter .
The reference quantity ("quantity dispensed") should always be measured with an appropriate measuring device .
Approved piston or bell prover
Approved gravimetric method

Calculation Based Default Settings

Correction factor k:

Faktor k about 1 .0000
Recalculation of an Existing Correction Factor:
Quantity dispensed:
Quantity displayed:
Correction factor k:
The existing correction factor would be, for example: 0 .9960
Calculation: 0 .9960 x 1 .003 = 0 .9989
The new correction factor is 0 .9989
