NOTE: To access the Edit UPL screen, double-click a UPL Statement from the list, the Edit UPL
Statement screen appears. For more information on the Edit UPL Statement screen, see the
AZedit Help file.

Right-Click Guide to the UPL Screen

Built into AZedit are many different ways to get to the same information, by buttons, menus, and right-clicking. The
following is a list of menus and screens you can access by right clicking from the UPL main screen.
Highlight UPL statement > Right Click
Right-click anywhere on the screen

display column
The Input A column displays the input condition that must be met
before the output result becomes active (for example, GPI Input,
Counter, etc.).

The Operation column displays the operator used (AND, OR, XOR).

The Input B column displays a second input condition that must be met
before the output result becomes active. It can be thought of as linking
two conditions together. However, you can also have one or the other
of the conditions being met before the result becomes active.

The Output column displays the type of output, such as a key closure,
crosspoint force or inhibit, etc.

The State column indicates the current state of the UPL statement.
True indicates the output condition is true when the condition (s) for A
or A and B is met.
False indicates the output condition wasn't met.
A popup menu appears.
From the Popup menu, select Enable or Disable.
The UPL statement is enabled (YES) or disabled (NO).
A popup menu appears that gives you the following
options:
Info: The information contained here shows the UPL
Statement, any Comments, and the State of the
statement.
From the Navigation menu, you can:
Go to UPL Resources view
Go to UPL Resource Alpha view
From the Changes Menu, you can
Clear all changes to this UPL /all UPLs..,.- clears all
the changes you have made up to the last Save
performed.
From the Search menu, you can:
Search for panels with this ISO assigned...
Note: You must be connected to the
Intercom for some of these menus to
work.
A popup menu appears that gives you the options to:
Undo: reverses the last action--for example, to undo a
deletion, thus restoring deleted text to a document.
Redo: will redo up to 20 consecutive changes that you
