TROUBLESHOOTING

◆ IE does not load or install the plug-ins.
1.
Possible cause: The IE protection level setting is too high.
Solution: Set the IE protection level to minimum.
◆ After updating, the user cannot inspect the IP camera using IE.

Solution: Empty the IE cache. Specific procedures: Select the IE Tools menu, select Internet Options, and click
"Delete file" in the 2nd option (Temporary Internet files), click "Delete all offline contents" and then click OK. Re-
establish the connection of the IP camera.
◆ Why can't I inspect the IP camera using IE?

Possible cause 1: Network error or breakdown
Solution: Connect the PC to the Internet and verify that access to the network is working correctly. Check any potential
problems with cables or the network caused by PC viruses by conducting ping test.
2.
Possible cause 2: The IP device is occupied by other devices.
Solution: Disconnect the IP camera from the network, connect it to the PC, and set the IP address of the device.
3.
Possible cause 3: The IP address is relative to a different subnetwork.
Solution: Check the IP address, subnetwork mask, and gateway settings.
4.
Possible cause 4: The physical address of the network is in conflict with the IP camera.
Solution: Change the physical address of the IP camera.
5.
Possible cause 5: The web port was changed.
Solution: Contact the network manager to obtain the corresponding information on the port.
◆ I cannot see the remote device video on the PC

Solution: Check that the video of the IP camera can be normally viewed in IE, that the device can be searched by PC
and that the client device parameters of the PC are set correctly.
