Configuring D-Wire Sensors

Configuring new sensor:
1. Plug D-wire into D-wire port on NetGuardian. Connect other end to the "IN" D-Wire port on sensor.
2. Log into web browser interface with user and password and go to "EDIT" menu. In the "EDIT" menu select
"D-Wire Sensors 1-8" (If less than eight sensors in use.) (Sensors one though eight will appear here and
sensors nine through sixteen will appear on next tab.) A list will appear with all sensors that are connected to
the unit. Un-configured sensors will appear outlined. If all of the sensors do not appear immediately, wait for up
to one minute and then click the "Refresh" link at the upper right hand corner of the webpage.
3. Go to the row of the sensor to configure in the "Description" column and fill in a description for your sensor. To
determine which ROMID belongs to which sensor, (for example which sensor is the temperature sensor and
which is the humidity sensor within the same unit), refer to sticker on the sensor with the unique ROMID code
for each sensor.
4. Once you have given each outlined sensor a name in the description column, click "Submit Data" at the bottom
of the page, and then click the "Refresh" link at the upper right-hand corner of the page. The writing process
may take up to a minute so if the sensors to be configured remain outlined after the first refresh, wait for a
minute and then refresh again. Once the sensors that you have configured are no longer outlined upon the page
refresh, you have configured the new sensors.
