the warning light on the side view mirror
illuminates.
• Vehicle detection operates when your
vehicle speed is above 12 mph (20
km/h) and the speed of the vehicle in
the blind spot area is above 6 mph (10
km/h).
Collision warning
Collision warning may operate when the
turn signal is turned on in the direction of
a detected vehicle.
• To warn you of a potential collision, the
warning light on the side view mirror
may blink and an audible warning may
sound.
• When the turn signal is turned off or you
move away from the vehicle in the blind
spot, the function returns to vehicle
detection state.
• Collision warning may warn when your
vehicle speed is above 25 mph (40
km/h) and the speed of the vehicle in
the blind spot area is above 6 mph (10
km/h).
WARNING
• The detection range of the rear corner
radar is determined by a standard road
width. On narrow roads, the function
may detect other vehicles in the next
lane and warn you. On wide roads, the
function may not be able to detect a
vehicle driving in the next lane and may
not warn you.
• When the hazard warning flasher is on,
the collision warning initiated by
activating the turn signal may not
operate.
