Check Test Cylinder

This test checks the test cylinder, which is the last cylinder on
the hard disk.
Perform this test if you receive a hard disk
the system.
When you select Check Test Cylinder, the program requests the
disk drive identifier and disk drive type.

Force Bad Tracks

Use this test to mark bad tracks on the hard disk without
formatting the disk.
When you select Force Bad Tracks, the program requests the
following hard disk parameters:
Disk drive identifier
Disk drive type
Start cylinder number
End cylinder number
Start head number
End head number
The following message appears after you specify the hard disk
parameters:
All data on Hard disk you have
specified may be LOST...
Do you still want to continue (Y/N)?
