During installation, bolts must be installed in sequence -5-, -7- and
-1-.

Bolts -1- for seat belt mounting bracket 25 Nm
Bolts -4- for belt inertia reel
Bolts -5- and -7- for seat belt mounting
bracket
1.4.4 Removing and installing rear three-point
seat belt, Kombi, outer seats of 2nd row
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Torque wrench - V.A.G 1331-
Note
The removal and installation procedure is described for the right-
hand side of the vehicle. Removal and installation of the left
vehicle side is similar.
