DISPLAY LOCK MODE

You can lock the display to avoid accidentally changing something in the midst of playing. To do this, follow the instructions below.

To lock the display,
1. Press and Hold the [] and [] Touch Buttons.
2. While holding the [] and [] Touch Buttons, turn the power
to the instrument "ON."
3. Continue to hold the[] and [] Touch Buttons until the
display shows:
Display LOCKED
When the display is locked:
w The [MENU/EXIT] Touch Button (P. 38) is disabled.
w The [RECORD] Touch Button is disabled for recording
FUNCTION Mode changes.
w "Short-Cut" function (P. 41) is disabled.
w [PRESET SELECTOR] Touch Buttons (P. 112) are still
enabled.
To unlock the display, repeat steps 1 through 3 above. The display
will show:
Display UNLOCKED
NOTE: The [RECORD] Touch Button can still be used in Display
Lock mode to save Patches and Preset Keys. If you wish to do
this, be sure to turn the FAVORITE parameter in the PATCH Edit
Menu "OFF." Please consult the PATCHES & FAVORITES section
starting on page 107 for more information on saving Patches
and Favorites.
NOTE: Restoring the default settings, either by DEFAULT ALL or
by applying power while holding the [RECORD] Touch Button,
does not unlock the display. To unlock the display, follow the
steps described above.
NOTE: You can still use the [CONTROL] Touch Button to access
a frequently-used FUNCTION Mode page in Display Lock mode.
However, you cannot move the cursor if the page has two or
more parameters.
