    ADD THE TOUCH-RESPONSE PERCUSSION [PERCUSSION] here does not mean percussion instruments like drums or marimbas, but the classic crisp attack unique to the Hammond Organ. Use it to mix with Drawbar sounds whenever necessary. [PERCUSSION] is available only on the UPPER part.

    Drawbar registrations introduced on the previous page are typically for classical mu- sic. ey were created at the dawn of the Hammond Organ, when it was intended to sound like a pipe or church organ. Later on, as the Hammond Organ spread throughout Jazz, Pop, Rock and (especially) Gospel music, Some timeless registrations become common.
