How to Adjust the Steer Relief
Valve
Perform this procedure with the
boom in the stowed position.
1 Connect a 0 to 3000 psi (0 to 206 bar) pressure
gauge to the test port on the function manifold.
2 Turn the key switch to platform controls and
pull out the Emergency Stop buttons to the
position at both the platform and ground
controls.
3 Hold the steer rocker switch in either direction
until the steer wheels are fully turned, and
observe the reading on the pressure gauge.
Steer relief valve specifications

4 Turn the machine off. Hold the relief valve and
remove the cap (item S, function manifold).
5 Adjust the internal hex socket. Turn it clockwise
to increase the pressure or counterclockwise to
decrease the pressure. Install the relief valve
cap.
6 Repeat steps 2 through 5 to confirm the relief
valve pressure.
