3 Turn the key switch to platform control and pull
out the Emergency Stop button to the
position at both the ground and platform
controls.
4 Press down on the foot switch and activate the
drive function.
Result: If the pressure gauge reads 3500 psi
(241 bar), immediately stop. The pump is good.
Result: If pressure fails to reach 3500 psi
(241 bar), the drive section of the pump is bad
and will need to be serviced or replaced.
5 Disconnect and plug the high pressure
hydraulic hose from the section farthest from
the electric motor on the main function pump.
Bodily injury hazard. Spraying
hydraulic oil can penetrate and
burn skin. Loosen hydraulic
connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to squirt
or spray.
6 Connect a 0 to 5000 psi (0 to 345 bar) pressure
gauge to the high pressure port on the pump
that is farthest from the electric motor.
7 Turn the key switch to ground control and pull
out the Emergency Stop button to the
position at both the ground and platform
controls.

8 Activate the function enable switch and the
platform up function from the ground controls.
Result: If the pressure gauge reads 2500 psi
(172 bar), immediately stop. The pump is good.
Result: If pressure fails to reach 2500 psi
(172 bar), the function and steer section of the
pump is bad and will need to be serviced or
replaced.
9 Remove the pressure gauge and reconnect the
hydraulic hoses.
How to Remove the Main
Function Pump
1 Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic hoses
on the pump.
Bodily injury hazard. Spraying
hydraulic oil can penetrate and
burn skin. Loosen hydraulic
connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to squirt
or spray.
2 Remove the pump mounting bolts. Carefully
remove the pump.
