Measuring Mode

Select between Basic and Advanced.

Basic Mode: Directly shows the chipping graphic during the measurement process.

The threshold limits can either be selected manually or using the ASTM standard.

Advanced Mode: recommended for expert users. It will display the potential map, and

then will present a statistical analysis of all the potential values measured. Taking

these values into account, the threshold limits can be selected, and therefore, the

chipping graph created.

Threshold standard

If basic mode is selected, this additional feature will appear. Threshold limits can be selected

either manually or using the ASTM standard (passive threshold = -200mV, corrosion threshold

=-350mV).

Probe Type

Select between Rod, One Wheel and Four wheel depending on the electrode connected.

Half-Cell Solution

Select between Cu/CuSO4 (Copper / Copper sulphate), Ag/AgCl (Silver / Silver chloride) or

Hg/Hg2 Cl2 (SCE Calomel).

Unit

Select Metric or Imperial.

Concrete Temperature

Input the temperature of the concrete surface that is being tested.

Auto potential shift

Enabling this feature will correct the potential readings automatically based on the concrete

temperature and the selected electrode.

Disabling this feature will correct the potential readings manually taking into consideration the

potential value included under the "Potential Shift" setting.
