Parameter
Enable or disable the thermal sensor
monitoring feature. If this option is set to
"Enabled" and when abnormal temperature is
detected, POST stops before the OS starts
and the system waits until the temperature
becomes normal.
Enable or disable the feature to detect
system configuration change.
If this option is set to "Enabled" and the
system configuration differs from the
previous boot, the system stops before
booting the OS and displays a message for
confirming whether to continue booting. At
this time, POST pauses until user's response
is made.
Specify whether to allocate interrupt lines for
BMC(Baseboard Management Controller).
Enable or disable the feature to suppress OS
booting when POST detects an error, until
user's response is made.
If this option is set to "Disabled", OS booting
continues regardless of user's response even
if an error is detected during POST.
Enable or disable the feature to suppress OS
booting when POST detects a memory
degradation error, until user's response is
made. This option is valid only when POST
Error Pause is set to "Enabled". Even if this
option is set to "Boot", the system halts at the
end of POST if all of the memory resources
are degraded.
Enable or disable the POWER switch inhibit
feature.
Enable or disable the Command Line
Interface SETUP feature. When this option is
set to "Enabled", the operation of SETUP is
changed to use Command Line Interface
(CLI). To switch back to the menu operation,
set this option to "Disabled".
For details of the command, run HELP
command after prompt of CLI SETUP is
displayed.
If the number of bootable devices exceeds a
certain number, a message "Failed to get
Boot Variable data" is displayed on the
command line, and you are unable to open or
change the Boot menu. Reduce the number
of bootable devices by disconnecting unused
USB device, or change Option ROM Scan
for onboard devices or PCI slots to
"Disabled".
