7.3 Aligning the V-port plug

Each V‑port plug has three V‑shaped ports.
Depending on the valve size, the size of the
symmetrically arranged V‑shaped ports var‑
ies. The process medium in the valve flows
through the V‑shaped ports as soon as the
plug is lifted out of the seat (i.e. the valve
opens).
1. Before mounting the actuator, determine
which V‑shaped port is uncovered first
when the plug is lifted out of the seat.
