Run the Remote Database Setup Utility and complete the
information requested in the wizard screens.
— Make sure you know the path to the SQL server.
— If you use Windows authentication, be sure the login ID has
administrator privileges on the SQL server.
— If you use SQL authentication, be sure the login ID is a member of
the sysadmin role.
— If a ReadiManager database has been installed previously on the
server, make sure you overwrite it.
After you have run the Database Setup Utility, enter the database
server's IP address, SQL server port number, and the database
instance name in the First Time Setup - Database screen.
Click Next.
ReadiManager tries to connect to the server. If the connection fails, an
error appears to indicate the problem. If the connection is successful,
the First Time Setup - Database Status screen appears.

Click Next to display the First Time Setup - LDAP Server screen.
Go on to "Setting up the LDAP Server".
