(a)
Make sure to use the same units of measurement for the electricity price and gas price
(example: both c€/kWh).
2 Determine the value of [C‑03] using the graph. For an example, see the table
legend.

b [C‑03]=10.5 in case of COP=3 and LWT=55°C
NOTICE
Make sure to set the value of [5‑01] at least 1°C higher than the value of [C‑03].
For DHW heating switch-over:
The heat pump system calculates a value T
COP as defined above. When storage tank temperature reaches T
set as primary heat source. Whether the boiler will be activated depends on the
intelligent tank management settings.
Electricity and gas prices, PE factor [7-03]
INFORMATION
To set electricity and gas price values, do NOT use overview settings. Set them in the
menu structure instead ([7.5.1], [7.5.2], [7.5.3], and [7.6]). For more information on
how to set the energy prices, see the operation manual and the user reference
guide.
INFORMATION
Solar panels. If solar panels are used, set the electricity price value very low to
promote the use of the heat pump.

If electricity and gas prices are not known, the PE
factor (primary energy factor) is used for the
calculation instead. Lower values of the PE factor
result in increased use of the heat pump. Higher
values of the PE factor result in increased use of
the auxiliary boiler.
