Reel Manipulators

Reel Manipulator (MRP1 , MRP2, MRP3)
The reel manipulator is used for the handling of reels with round center holes. Both reels standing upright or
laying horizontally can be handled.
Safety when using the Reel Manipulator
When loading the reel it is important to lock the positioning bolt and the safety lock.
Failure to do so may cause the machine to tip over.
Safety when using the safety lock
Do not release the safety lock before the reel is in position, otherwise the reel may accidentally
fall off.
Safety when using the positioning bolt
Turn slowly: The positioning bolt is not designed to act as a stop-tab when the reel is turned.
Safety when moving the lifter
Always transport the reel with the core placed horizontally.
MRP1 and MRP3:
To release the reel:
1: Pull and hold the red button
(safety lock).
2: Rotate the red handle.
Presto Lifts
To fasten the reel:
(To activate the grip function)
3: Rotate the red handle until the
safety lock is activated.

To rotate the reel:
4: Hold on to the grip.
5: Open the positioning bolt.
6: Turn the tool slowly.
