Safety Areas and Distance
Safety when operating the tool
The operator must ensure that the tool is clear of obstacles before lifting, lowering or rotating.
The operator must warn other personnel before lifting, lowering or using the tool.
When lifting or lowering the tool, the operator must:
- stand behind the wheels of the lifter as illustrated below
- ensure that all other personnel are out of the danger zone as illustrated

Central Brake

Central brake
The lifter is equipped with central brake on the rear wheels. The brake has 3 different positions, neutral,
brake and swivel lock.

The three different positions for the brake is pictured below.
Neutral position: The rear wheels can turn and swivel without limitations

Braked position: Rear wheels are locked in both rotation and swivel
l
Swivel lock position: Rear wheels can rotate but are locked and cannot swivel
