2. Remove disc from the supply bin.
3. Select Diagnostic #2.
The process starts by detecting what elements (printer, or recorder) are in the
autoloader. It moves the lift arm down close to the supply bin, and then moves the lift
arm to the top of the column. The Endeavor opens the print drawer and closes it to see
if there is a disc in the printer. It moves the lift arm down to retrieve a disc from the
supply bin.
If the supply bin is empty, an error message displays (INPUT BIN NO MEDIA) on the
operator panel and the LED flashes three times with a pause and repeats the flash
cycle. Press the operator button again and the autoloader starts a lift arm cycle. This
moves the lift arm up and down and counts the cycles until the button is pressed to
stop the test.
03 – Calibrate Diagnostic
This diagnostic test is to calibrate the distance of the lift arm homing position to the
supply bin with one disc. Select the test and the panel displays "Press/Rel to Go Hold
to Exit". Press and release the operator button to start the calibration process. The
panel displays the next step "PLACE ONE DISC TO SUPPLY BIN". Place only one
disc in to the supply bin and press the supply bin down to make sure it is properly
seated. Press the operator button again. The lift arm moves down and picks the disc. It
drops it back in the bin. The arm moves back above the print drawer. After this test is
completed, the autoloader is calibrated. Endeavor restarts and it exits the diagnostic
mode.
