Use this procedure to replace one or more recorders in a DiscLab™, DL5200™, or a DLN5200™. Rimage approved parts must be used for this process. The product warranty may become void if parts not approved by Rimage are used; equipment or parts are tampered with, misused, neglected, or modified in any respect without the written consent of Rimage.

0BReplace a Recorder on a Rimage DiscLab System Remove the front panel from the system by pulling outward. Pull the recorder out of the front of the system. Install the Recorder Slide the new recorder into the system. Position the recorder so that the face of the recorder is flush with the edge of the frame.

Check the Recorder Alignment Install the side covers. Position the left side cover on the DiscLab. Insert and tighten the Torx T10 screws (Qty. DL5200/DLN5200 = 8, DL = 4) to secure the left side cover. DL5200/DLN5200 2000122_D DiscLab™, DL5200™ and DLN5200™...

Important! The right side cover on some DLN5200 autoloaders has an air vent. If you are working on a DLN5200 and there is an air vent, position the air vent as shown in the center photo. Insert and tighten the Torx T10 screws (Qty. DL5200/DLN5200 = 8, DL = 4) to secure the right side cover. DL5200 Power on the system.

Warning: To avoid the danger of electrical shock, do not proceed unless you have powered off the system. Remove the Torx T10 screws (Qty. DL5200/DLN5200 = 8, DiscLab = 4) from the left side cover. Remove the left side cover and set it aside.
