3.3.33 Automatic Lens Calculation tool
Use laser distance measurement, and recommend lenses by testing and monitoring the distance between
locations.
Put the meter at the position where the surveillance camera needs to be installed, and align the laser
ranging module on the top of the meter with the center of the area to be monitored, enter the meter's
"automatic lens calculation tool".
Note: Do not look directly at the red laser light emitted by the laser emission port, it will cause damage
to the eyes.
1. Distance measurement: Click Start, a red laser spot will appear, move the red laser spot to the
center of the monitoring screen (on an opaque non-mirror object such as a wall), click "distance
measurement" to stat test, and automatically recommends lens according to the test distance. This lens
value is for reference only.
2. Lens simulation: Click the "Lens Simulation" app, and after setting parameters such as the lens size
corresponding to the current image, a virtual image segmentation frame will appear on the current
image, showing the viewing angle of the scene corresponding to different lens focal length values .The
viewing angle of the simulated scene is for reference only. The focal length value of the lens will affect
the viewing angle and visual monitoring distance of the camera image. The actual lens should be
selected according to the actual needs.
