When equipped with an airbag, a label with the correct procedure for protecting small
children and protecting the driver is attached to the left-hand, overhead storage lid or back of
sun visor.
WARNING
Never attempt to repair any part of the
SRS system. Any interference with the
system may cause it to malfunction and
result in serious injury or death.
Work on the system may only be carried out by an authorized Volvo Truck dealer.
To allow the SRS system to work as designed:
•
Never drive an SRS system equipped vehicle with the hands on the steering wheel
pad/airbag module.
•
No objects, accessory equipment or stickers may be placed on, attached to or installed
near the SRS cover in the center of the steering wheel.
