Note: DO NOT work on the electric system
without proper tools and training. Repair
work to the electrical system must be done
by trained professionals. Your authorized
Volvo Truck dealer has the right tools and
trained technicians.
Charging System
An alternator with an integrated regulator is used to supply power to the vehicle electrical
system. The charging system voltage should be checked periodically to prevent overcharging
or undercharging the batteries.
