Air Leakage Check
The Air Leakage check allows the driver to accurately measure the amount of air pressure
drop in the front and rear brake air systems. After selecting this test from the DID, you are
prompted to apply the service brake for 60 seconds. After applying and holding the service
brake for 60 seconds, the DID will display the amount of pressure drop in the brake system.
Before starting the test through the DID, complete the following:
•
Start the engine and check that the brake pressure gauges are greater than 136 Nm
(100 psi).
•
Turn engine off.
•
Release all brakes and allow the system to settle (air gauge needle stops moving).
1. When running the brake pressure test the following screen displays. Press and hold
the brake pedal for a total of 60 seconds.
