4. Unit Installation
MagnaClean CMX Midi Pro (FL1-03-06631)
The MagnaClean CMX Midi Pro sidestream skid unit should be installed by a competent plumber or
service engineer on a solid, level floor which is able to support the filled weight of the unit of c.41kg.
Please ensure the minimum clearance requirements detailed in Fig.3 on page 5 are followed to allow for
servicing of the unit. No special equipment or tools are required for installation.
This unit can be connected to a heating or chilled system in any location in a sidestream configuration,
via the two 28mm compression ball valves included with the unit.
IMPORTANT: The unit inlet and outlet should be connected either across the system flow and return,
(with the filter inlet connected to the system flow and the filter outlet connected to the system return)
or across a system pump, as indicated below in Fig.5. The inlet and outlet connections should be a
minimum of 386mm apart to prevent back-circulation of system water.
