We recommend you prepare the communications cables prior to the installation.
Cable
1: Twisted-pair shielded cable, 0.25 mm
analyser and the 485/WIFI 24H EQX2-T communication module.
There are two options:
Use the RJ45 connector included with the ESM3T 90D24 EQX2 / ESM3T 300D50 EQX2 network analyser and connect pins 7 and

8 to one end of the cable, as shown in the following diagram:
Connect the other end of the cable to Cable 3.
Use an RS485 Ethernet communications cable or equivalent and modify as follows:

Cut the RJ45 connector off one end of the cable.

Cut 50 mm of the insulation to expose the inner wires.
4.
Isolate the brown and white-brown twisted pair from the others.
5.
Cut the other three pairs: blue, green and orange.
6.
Use a multimeter to ensure that the brown/white-brown twisted pair has continuity.
