4. To use a previously established port, select U U s s e e a a n n e e x x i i s s t t i i n n g g p p o o r r t t , then from the list, select a Standard TCP/IP

Port.

5. To create a Standard TCP/IP port:

a. Select C C r r e e a a t t e e a a N N e e w w P P o o r r t t .

b. For Type of port, select S S t t a a n n d d a a r r d d T T C C P P / / I I P P P P o o r r t t , then click N N e e x x t t .

c. In the Hostname or IP address field, type the printer IP address or host name.

d. To disable the feature, clear the check box for Q Q u u e e r r y y t t h h e e p p r r i i n n t t e e r r a a n n d d a a u u t t o o m m a a t t i i c c a a l l l l y y s s e e l l e e c c t t t t h h e e d d r r i i v v e e r r t t o o

u u s s e e , then click N N e e x x t t .

6. Click H H a a v v e e D D i i s s k k .

7. Click B B r r o o w w s s e e . Browse to, then select the driver.inf file for your printer. Click O O p p e e n n .

8. Select your printer model, then click N N e e x x t t .

9. If a prompt appears because the print driver was installed previously, click U U s s e e t t h h e e d d r r i i v v e e r r t t h h a a t t i i s s c c u u r r r r e e n n t t l l y y

10. In the Printer name field, type a name for your printer.

11. To install the print driver, click N N e e x x t t .

12. If needed, set the printer as the default printer.

Note: Before you select S S h h a a r r e e P P r r i i n n t t e e r r , contact your system administrator.

13. To send a test page to the printer, click P P r r i i n n t t a a t t e e s s t t p p a a g g e e .

14. Click F F i i n n i i s s h h .

1. Connect the B end of a standard A/B USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 cable to the USB Port on the back of the printer.

2. Connect the A end of the USB cable to the USB port on the computer.
