Step Check
1 Clear the error in service mode.
2 Does the fixing heater turn on
immediately after power-on?
3 Does the wiring between the SSR,
relay, and DC controller PCB have
a fault?
4 Is 6-7 and 7-8 of the SSR shorted?
5 Replace the DC controller PCB. Is
the problem corrected?

Yes/No
NO See "The fixing heater
fails to turn on." If E000
or E002 occurs, see its
respective descriptions.
If E004 turns on once
again, go to step 3.
YES Correct the wiring.
YES Replace the SSR.
YES End.
NO Replace the image
processor PCB.
