Lift Circuit – Relief Valve (RV1) Pressure
The relief valve for the lift circuits (RV1) is located in the control valve. If lift
operations perform poorly, perform the gear pump flow test; refer to
Lift and Tilt Angle Circuits – Gear Pump Flow (page
Special Equipment Required:
•
Pressure Gauge (10,350 kPa (1500 psi) capacity)
•
Non-contact tachometer (photo tach)
1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower any attachments, engage the
parking brake and set the key switch to the O
2. Read and adhere to the information provided in
(page
5–19).
3. Remove the hood.
4. Install a pressure gauge at the control valve P1 port test fitting.
