Engine: General Information
This chapter gives the information about specifications and repair of the Kohler
Command CH740 gasoline engine used in the Field Pro 6040. Described
adjustments and repairs require tools that are commonly available in many
service shops.
Service and repair parts for the engine in your Field Pro 6040 are supplied
through your Authorized Toro Distributor. Be prepared to provide your distributor
with the Toro Model and Serial Number of your machine to obtain parts.
When disposing of hazardous waste products (fuel, engine oil, hydraulic fluid,
filters, etc.), take them to an authorized disposal site. Waste products must not
be allowed to contaminate surface water, drains, or sewer systems.
The Operator's Manual provides information regarding the operation, general
maintenance, and maintenance intervals for your Field Pro 6040. Refer to
Operator's Manual for additional information when servicing the machine.

general maintenance, and maintenance intervals for the KOHLER Command
