Height adjustment of the anti-dust brush rim
The scouring machine includes a height adjustable anti-dust brush rim. To adjust the height of
the anti-dust brush rim, please proceed as follows:
1. Open the three nuts by turning them anticlockwise. Remove the nuts and the washers.
2. Pull the anti-dust brush rim off so
that the depth gauge can be turned.
3. Adjust the required milling depth.
4. Push the brush rim up again to the
desired height.
5. Attach the washers and the nuts
again. Re-tighten the nuts.
Vacuum cleaner attachment
This scouring machine is equipped with a dust exhaust adapter. It is imperative to connect a
professional industrial vacuum cleaner to the dust exhaust adapter of the scouring machine in
order to reduce dust emission.
To attach the vacuum cleaner, twist the small dust exhaust adapter attachment into the dust
exhaust adapter. Then directly connect one end of the vacuum cleaner tube to the small
attachment. Afterwards, connect the big dust exhaust adapter attachment to the other end of
the vacuum cleaner tube. Finally, connect the big attachment with the vacuum cleaner body.
Do not forget to empty the vacuum cleaner at regular intervals.
WARNING! Certain dusts produced during scouring contain recognized chemical elements
capable of causing cancer, birth defects or other reproductive problems. Some examples of
these chemicals are:
• Lead from paints
• Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products
• Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated wood
The risk associated with these exposures varies according to the frequency of this type of work.
To reduce your exposure to these chemicals work in a well-ventilated area and use approved
safety equipment such as dust masks specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.

4. MAINTENANCE

This tool requires no special maintenance.
Make sure that the air vents are not blocked to prevent overheating and damage to the
tool. If the tool overheats, stop it for a few minutes to cool.
Do not use aggressive chemicals to clean plastic parts. Various chemicals can corrode
