Wear hearing protection!
The declared vibration total value has been measured in accordance with a standard test
method and may be used for comparing one tool with another.
The declared vibration total value may also be used in a preliminary assessment of exposure.
WARNING!
The vibration emission during actual use of the power tool can differ from the declared total
value depending on the ways in which the tool is used.
There is a need to identify safety measures to protect the operator that are based on an
estimation of exposure in the actual conditions of use (taking account of all parts of the
operating cycle such as the times when the tool is switched off and when it is running idle in
addition to the trigger time).

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

How to hold the scouring machine
The scouring machine should be held with two hands, the right hand on the main handle and
the left hand on the auxiliary handle.
CAUTION: Keep your hands on the handles at all times. Do not place hands in the area
around the milling head. The milling head could jam your hand.
Starting and stopping the scouring machine
Make sure power circuit voltage is the same as shown on the specification plate on the
scouring machine (voltage differences from + 6% to - 10% are allowed). Make sure that the
trigger switch is not pressed. Connect scouring machine to power circuit.
To start the tool, press the safety button and at the same time press and hold the trigger switch.
The milling head will start to rotate.
To turn the tool off, release the pressure on the trigger switch and disconnect the tool from the
mains.
CAUTION! If the machine stops for any reason or due to power failure, immediately
release the pressure on the trigger switch, to avoid sudden starts in unattended
condition and subsequent physical hazards.
Speed regulation
The scouring machine is equipped with a variable speed control. The speed is adjusted by
turning the speed control wheel. The wheel goes from "MIN" to "MAX".
Use the higher speed settings for fast removal. Use the lower speed settings to have more
precise control.
