Driving your vehicle
Volume to 'High', 'Medium' or 'Low' for
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.
If you change the Warning Volume, the
warning volume of other Driver Assis-
tance systems may change.
CAUTION
僅 The setting of the Warning Timing
and Warning Volume applies to all
functions of Forward Collision-Avoid-
ance Assist.
僅 Even though 'Normal' is selected for
Warning Timing, if the front vehicle
suddenly stops, the initial warning
activation time may seem late.
僅 Select 'Late' for Warning Timing when
traffic is light and when driving speed
is slow.
NOTICE
僅 If the engine is restarted, Warning
Timing and Warning Volume will
maintain the last setting.
僅 If you change the Warning Volume,
the Warning Volume of other Driver
Assistance systems may change.

Collision warning
To warn the driver of a collision, the
warning message will appear on the
cluster, an audible warning will sound.
Collision Warning is operated under the
below circumstances and your vehicle
speed.
僅 Vehicle: approximately 10~180 km/h
(6~110 mph)
僅 Pedestrian and cyclist: When the
speed of your vehicle is approxi-
mately 10~60 km/h (6~37 mph)
Emergency braking
To warn the driver that emergency brak-
ing will be assisted, the warning mes-
sage will appear on the cluster, an
audible warning will sound. In emer-
