How to deactivate the Smart Tail-
gate with Auto Open function
using the smart key

1 Remote start
2 Power sliding door opening (Driver's
side)
3 Power sliding door opening (Passen-
ger's side)
4 Door lock
5 Door unlock
6 Tailgate unlock/open
If you press any button of the smart key
during the Detect and Alert stage, the
smart tailgate with auto open function
will be deactivated.
Make sure to be aware of how to deacti-
vate the smart tailgate with auto open
function for emergency situations.
Smart Tailgate with Auto Open
NOTICE
僅 If you press the door unlock button
(5), the smart tailgate with auto open
function will be deactivated temporar-
ily. But, if you do not open any door
for 30 seconds, the smart tailgate with
auto open function will be activated
again.
僅 If you press the tailgate open button
(6) for more than 1 second, the tail-
gate opens.
僅 If you press the door lock button (4) or
tailgate open button (6) when the
smart tailgate with auto open function
is not in the Detect and Alert stage,
the smart tailgate with auto open
function will not be deactivated.
僅 In case you have deactivated the
smart tailgate with auto open function
by pressing the smart key button and
opened a door, the smart tailgate with
auto open function can be activated
again by closing and locking all doors.

僅 The smart tailgate with auto open
function operates with a welcome
alert if the smart key is detected
within 50~100 cm from the tailgate.
