4.9 Fixed back canes :

The Spiral tilt in space wheelchair is equipped with 20" (50,8 cm), or 22" (55,9 cm) or 24" (60,9
cm) standard fixed back canes. These back canes are adjustable in angle from 85° to 120°. It
should be noted that the mechanism of folding canes and adjustable angle push handles aren't
compatible with these types of back canes.
To install this type of back please refer to the section: 4.2;
Changing the back angle:
The angle of the seat backrest of the Spiral wheelchair can be adjusted from 85° to 120°
depending on the customers needs:
1. Remove the bolts (A) and (B);
2. Adjust the angle of the backrest according to the needs of the customer;
3. Tighten the bolts (A) and (B) to the desired position;
