6. Rear Wheels

6.1 Fixed Axle Installation / Removal

6.1.1 To Install Fixed axle rear wheel
Insert axle A in the wheel.

Slide axle A inside the positioning device B.

Put nut C at the end of the axle A.

Tighten nut C with a 3/4" wrench while holding the axle A with

a ¾" ratchet.
A
20", 22" or 24" rear wheels installation requires re-adjusting the location
of the wheel locks, the front wheels and the anti-tippers. See section 5.3,
12.1 and 13.2.
Always check the steadiness of the wheelchair. It may require rear wheel
horizontal adjustment. Read section 6.3.
