About Alert Mode

Alert Mode can be used in urgent situations to alert the ViewPoint operator that an important event
has occurred. Alert Mode has the following effects:
An alert message and tracking position message are transmitted to ViewPoint, irrespective
of whether a GPS fix is obtained. Your last-known position is sent if there is no GPS fix.
The interval between routine tracking messages may change, depending on how the
system has been configured in ViewPoint. By default, the interval is decreased to 2 minutes.
