To confirm the deletion, select OK. The following notification message is displayed:

Sending a Message Request

The Request Messages option allows you to prompt the ViewPoint application to send you any
waiting messages without waiting for the next scheduled communications period. To use this option:

Select the Mailbox option on the Home page.

If necessary, press the Up/Down key (
option, then choose Select:

The following notification is displayed:

Select OK.

Sending Point-of-Interest Messages

Pressing the Point-of-Interest (POI) key (
to ViewPoint, which records your position on a map. You can send your own POI message or use a
message that has been pre-configured in ViewPoint.
Note: If the point of interest is your present location, you should remain at this position until the GPS
fix icon (
) appears at the top right of the screen. This ensures that the correct position is included
with the POI message.
