the Osprey
3Chapter 2 – Registering the Osprey
This chapter is for system administrators who need to register the Osprey before use.
Caution:
Do not switch on the Osprey until you reach step 3.
Note: Fully charge the battery for at least 6 hours using the supplied charger. For further information,
refer to Charging the Battery on page 19.
Before using your Osprey, it must be registered in the ViewPoint application. There are three steps to
this process:
1.
Create your user account with EMS Global Tracking online services.
2.
Add the Osprey in ViewPoint.
3.
Complete registration by switching on your Osprey.
Note: The Osprey must be activated for use on an airtime account prior to registration,
STEP 1 - Create Your User Account
Before registering your Osprey, you must have a user account with the EMS Global Tracking online
service. If you already have an account, you may omit this procedure and go directly to STEP 2 - Add
the Osprey in ViewPoint on page 5.
To create your user account:

Click the Register link provided for new users. The New User Registration page is
displayed. Note: Do not attempt to log in until you receive an email (see over).

Enter your personal details.
