Client Ports
The UDP database port starts at 1498(UDP) and
dynamically increments.
In addition, the network communication definition is as follows:
AIM Software: (Agent initiated monitoring & logon/logoff functions):
Agent's AIM software makes an outbound call on random port to the
Witness Server specific port 3010 tcp. Wadld.exe application listens on port
3010 of the Witness Server.
Screen Capture Software: Server agentdev.exe makes an outbound call on a
random port to the agent's machine at specific port 4001 tcp. Wcapw32.exe
application is listening on port 4001 on the agent's machine.
Client Software: Client makes an outbound call on random port to the
Witness Server specific port 3000 tcp. Userman.exe application listens on
port 3000 of the Witness Server.
On the Nortel Quality Monitoring Server:
Userman.exe application listens on port 3000 for Supervisor Client
requests.
Devman.exe application listens on ports 3002 and 3003 for SIU and XIU
connection requests.
Wadld.exe application listens on port 3010 for AIM and API connection
requests. Random/Specific outbound calls SIU/CTI connections
depending on the specific interface.
SIU connection (to Contact Recorder): Random outbound calls to specific
destination ports. The Server requires port 53 for name resolution to the
Contact Recorder that provides call events to the server and to initiate the
Agent terminal name screen capture call to port 4001.
