2. [Click] the QOS Button on the RADIUS Manager Toolbar. The "Quality
of Service" window should appear.
3. [Click] the ADD Button to add a new Grade of Service profile to the list,
or select an existing Service and [click] the EDIT Button to edit the
configuration of the Service Name selected.
4. To allocate a new Grade of Service Name enter a meaningful name in the
"Name:" box. In this instance enter the Name SILVER.
5. Select the Priority of the new Grade of Service by [clicking] the
appropriate box - High, Medium or Low can be selected. Select
"Medium".
6. Enter the IP Address of the associated NAS Router as applicable. For this
example enter 10.0.0.1.
The provisioning of any NAS System resource is regulated by the Priority
parameter set in the Account Users Grade of Service profile.
7. To add a Timeband to the new Grade of Service profile [click] the "Add"
Button.
If no Timebands are configured for a Grade of Service all connection requests
will rejected when the particular Grade of Service is in operation.
8. Set the Start Time by [double clicking] the "Start Time" Box and entering
the appropriate time (in 24 hour clock format). Enter a Start Time of
00:00.
9. Set the End Time by [double clicking] the "End Time" Box and entering
the appropriate time (again in 24 hour clock format). Enter an End Time
of 09:00.
Do not attempt to wrap a Timeband around Midnight, i.e. the End Time must
be greater than the Start Time.
10. Set the maximum number of channels allowed by all Account Users
during this Timeband (in the selected Grade of Service profile) by [double
clicking] the "MaxChannels" Box and entering the appropriate number of
channels. Enter a value of 6 in the MaxChannels Box.
