The NAS unit "Name" entered here does not have to correspond with the
associated NAS Router's name [as configured in the Router's System
Parameters Form (obtained by typing CO SY<CR> on the command line)].
The "Name" configured here is used by the RADIUS Server Event Log to
indicate which NAS Router the RADIUS Server is in communication with.
However for simplicity and to ease unit nomenclature we will assign the same
"Name" to the NAS unit as is defined in the HQ Marlin's System Parameters.
5. Enter the IP Address of the associated NAS Router as applicable. In this
instance enter the IP Address of 10.0.0.1 in the IP Address Box.
6. Type the appropriate NAS type in the box provided, in this instance
MARLIN. This should correspond exactly with one of the NAS types
configured previously.
7. Alter the Number of Ports in accordance with the associated NAS
Router's capabilities. For this example the Number of Ports should be set
to 6, as a 6 channel PRI module is installed in the Marlin located on the
HQ backbone network.
ISDN ports only should be taken into consideration, do not include any WAN
ports.
8. If the associated NAS Router is connected to a Nautica 8000 LSU then
[click] the "LSU Connected" option box. For this example do not select
this option.
9. Enter the Authentication code used between the RADIUS Server and the
associated NAS Router in the "Authentication" box. Enter PASSWORD
as the Authentication code.
An Authentication code must be entered. The Authentication code entered
here must be exactly the same as the password entered in the "Password" field
on the associated NAS Router's RADIUS Configuration Parameters Form
(obtained by typing CO RA<CR> on the command line). The Authentication
code (Security Server Password) can be constructed from any printable
characters.
