AutoPad

AutoPad provides the entire possible gain range to the operator and silently applies the pad when
the gain range is set to a low value that requires the pad to achieve.
When AutoPad is active the Pad control on the channel is dimmed to show it is no longer available
for user control. If the input gain is set to a low value which requires the pad to achieve then the
Pad icon will be highlighted blue (whilst dimmed) to show that it is active.
Pad automatically engaged due to
low mic gain value
It is advisable to check channel gain values after changing the AutoPad setting. Overall gain levels
will be retained but pad states may change.
Compensated channels will retain a constant output signal level when in AutoPad mode,
irrespective of whether the pad has been automatically applied.
