Pad

The SB i16 and SB 8.8 have two pad modes, Traditional and AutoPad. The pad mode is selected
per stagebox (applied to all inputs) from the SETUP tab of the stagebox within Network I/O
Controller.

Traditional

Traditional pad mode is active when AutoPad is deselected. This allows the 20 dB pad to be
inserted/removed manually. Inserting the pad will reduce the input gain by 20 dB. The reduced
value will be shown in the input channel strip and the range of available gain values will be updated
to reflect the pad state. Note that maximum and minimum gain values are dependent on the
Operating Level setting.
