88 WLAN Handset configuration
Ring Delay Select Ring Delay to specify how long the vibrate cadence
plays before the audible ring begins. The Ring Delay option appears if both
ring cadence and vibrate cadence are configured to PBX, Continuous, Short
Pulse or Long Pulse. If Ring Cadence or Vibrate Cadence is turned off, the
Ring Delay option does not appear on the menu.
Auxiliary Ring 1 and Ring 2 The Auxiliary rings are designed to be
utilized by OAI applications. With Auxiliary Ring 1 and Ring 2 you can
configure a distinctive ring for these applications.
Noise Mode
Select Noise Mode to specify the noise level in your environment. Select
Normal for most office environments; High: for moderate background
noise; or Severe: for extremely noisy conditions. The High and Severe
modes adjust the microphone and in-ear speaker volume of the handset to
account for background noise. If you use High or Severe mode in a quiet
environment, the person on the other end of the line can find it difficult to
hear your voice.
Ring in Headset Ring in Speaker
You can select to have the handset ring in the headset or the handset
speaker.
Warning Tones
You can specify whether warning tones (such as system up or down, or out
of range) play. Warning Tones are enabled by default.
Key Tones
You can specify whether tones play when keys are pressed. Key Tones
are enabled by default.
Push-to-talk Disable/Enable
You can enable or disable the PTT feature locally.

Phone Settings

The following sections describe the Phone Settings menu options.
Keypad Autolock
You can configure the keypad to lock automatically when in standby mode.
You can disable the automatic locking function (the default) or adjust the
autolock for a 5, 10, or 20 second delay before locking.
