    Getting started The states of the WLAN Handset The WLAN Handset can be in one of the states described in the following table. IMPORTANT!     Features, functions, and buttons Push-to-Talk Push-to-Talk is available on the WLAN Handset 2211 only. Push-to-Talk mode enables WLAN Handsets 2211 to operate in a group broadcast mode in addition to the standard handset operation. The WLAN Handset 2211 supports eight multicast channels with the current channel saved in the handset memory.

    WLAN Handset, headset, batteries, and chargers Desktop Charger The Nortel Networks WLAN Handset Desktop Charger is designed to fully charge the Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery packs in approximately one and a half hours. The charger operates in a 50° to 85° F (10° to 30° C) environment. Do not expose the charger to freezing temperatures or direct sunlight.

Place the handset, face forward, into the Desktop Charger. The red indicator light turns on.
