To display the packet capture event messages, enter the following command:
log -fftwid -ePCAP

Getting the Name of the Packet Capture File
To retrieve a packet capture file stored in the router's memory, you must know its
name. To get the file name, enter the following command:
show pcap state
The captured file name is listed as part of the PCAP summary data. The file name
is formatted as follows:
PCAP <ssnn>
is the slot number.
ss
is a number from 00 to 99.
nn
Using FTP to Transfer the File
When you use FTP to get a packet capture file, the FTP software transfers it from
processor memory instead of from the media.
