Remove the failed power supply from the chassis.

Squeeze up on the metal portion on the underside of the power supply
handle (Figure
b Pull on the handle to remove the power supply from the chassis.
As you pull on the handle, the handle rotates to the left.
Caution: The power supply feels hot to the touch, even if you turned off
the Nortel VPN Router 5000. The power supply is operating as designed.

Support the bottom of the power supply as you pull it free from the
chassis.
When you remove a power supply, the VPN Router 5000 automatically
redistributes the power load to the remaining power supply.
